Occidental’s Child Development Center opened in 1993 and is licensed by the state to care for 42 children ages 2 to 5. The center, which is staffed by six teachers and offers a preschool curriculum, is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. All children receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. The CDC is located on the Occidental campus and is available to children whose parents are full- or part-time employees of the College.
